Pity and Disappointment

· Ableism,Pity,Ink Drawing,Artist,Transgender

I drew this about a month ago. One of the things I really hate about existing in public spaces is the looks that I get from people when I’m using my face mask, my cane, or just being an able-passing queer-coded person. So this is just an ink drawing of looks I’ve seen on people’s faces.

[Image description: Faces drawn in black ink are shown in square and rectangular boxes. They range from disgust, delight, fear, gratitude, pity, disappointment. These are the faces of people that I’ve seen staring at me in public.]
